Visit Blaavand / Blåvand

Blåvand is a minor /Provence? and seaside settlements in southwest Jutland during Oksby Parish west of Esbjerg. Blaavand is located near to Blåvands Huk, which is Jutland's westernmost point.

Blaavand over the years has evolved into a /Provence? resort which is popular all year,

North of Blaavand are the military training area Kalle Maersk Heath.

Near Blaavand find Blaavand Pine, Blaavand Radio and Tirpitz-position Blaavand.

Blaavand is Denmark's westernmost point, here Blåvandshuk lighthouse high above the blue waves and white sand beaches. Blåvand is a true natural beauty of  forests and plantations, and the sprawling Kalle Maersk Hedegaard.

Visit Blaavand by train
The train station is in the Esbjerg town center  and connects  by lokal bus from Blaavand  and Esbjerg train station connects you to pretty all of Denmark and beyond.

* Esbjerg Airport is in the eastern part of the city, with local bus connections. There are flight connections to London (Stanstead Airport), Aberdeen and Stavanger-Bergen, Norway
* Billund Airport is western Denmark's biggest and more well connected. It is conveniently located about an hour's drive from Varde.

Esbjerg is the terminal for the DFDS overnight ships to England. Billund Airport, an hour away, is served by bus from Esbjerg.

Visit Blaavand by ferry
Getting to Esbjerg from the UK is simple. With a regular ferry from Harwich, you arrive in Esbjerg around midday. You can get the number 5 bus, just outside the terminal from Esbjerg port to the railway station in the centre of town.

Visit Varde by Bus
Express busses connect Esbjerg to Aalborg, Aarhus and Sønderborg as well as other towns in Denmark.

Visit Blaavand by Car
  Blaavand to Varde(16 km) and Varde is linked to Denmark's highway network aprxm. 15 km before Esbjerg and E20 connects Esbjerg - Kolding - Copenhagen and E45 to Padborg - Vejle .
