Visit Helsinge

Helsinge is the capital of the municipality of Gribskov in North Zealand. With local runway construction in 1880 started to be the city's development. The development took place mainly after World War II, thus Helsinge now mostly is a residential city..
Sometime in the 1990s, Helsinge called Denmark's ugliest. Since then Helsinge embellished with the pedestrian, sculptures etc.

Helsinge Gribskov Helsinge is Located where the roads from North Zealand cities joined. There are highways from Gilleleje, Tisvildeleje, Frederiksværk Hundested. traffic continues along Hillerødmotorvejen or Isterødvejen to Copenhagen.
In 1880, Gribskovbanen was  developet with 2 lines: Hillerød Helsinge-Tisvildeleje and Hillerød Gilleleje. Part of the the track is located in the beautiful Gribskov.
Helsinge Tibirke Hills Gribskov Municipality many small communities north of Helsinge. This is particularly Gilleleje Graested and held. In these cities there are schools, sports facilities and cultural associations. During the summer growing population when home people moving into summer cottages along the North Coast.
